Welcome To The Ross Historical Society
In a world where the important lessons of the past are forgotten, leaving the future with no foundation to build upon; we have taken on the important work of preserving our community’s history and sharing it with those who will follow in our footsteps.
We are searching for the gems of oral history, buildings with a story, glimpses of daily life from documents, newspapers, photos, written materials, and objects of antiquity.
The Ross Township Historical Society is a group of people with a heart for history and this community. We are currently at work planning events for the community, taking on preservation projects and collecting display items.
Prior generations are a treasure of wisdom and knowledge. The future needs to see our successes and failures to learn to pursue the real gold nuggets and reject, but never forget, the iron pyrite (Fool’s Gold).
Come Visit Us
We are located within the former Ross Township municipal building. Tours will be given the first Saturday of every month for the entire year of 2023.
