About Us

Following the vision and leadership of Kathryn Villoresi, great granddaughter of James and Clara Serfass, our organization came together in the fall of 2016 after we felt the need to have an organized group who would care about our township’s history. Our historical society was intent on celebrating its 200th birthday in 2017 as our first big endeavor for the society. We legally formalized our organization in 2017 and created our by-laws and mission statement.
